An Apology is Not Enough, Cancer Hoax Takes Much Need Money and Services

Toronto, Ontario, Canada has been given quite a shock.  A Toronto woman faked a cancer diagnosis to gain money, services and trips.  This hoax went as far as her plucking eyelashes and starving herself for the affect of being on chemotherapy.  Why?  She claimed that she wanted to be noticed and bring her family back together.   Hmmmm.  There was nothing else she could do to get this attention from others than take money, gifts and services from others.  All in the name of cancer makes one really upset if their family members have had cancer or currently has cancer.   This seems to be a popular activity to undertake as a woman in the US has been sentenced to jail, probation and repaying the money that she took for her cancer hoax.  Doesn't anyone understand how horrendous this is?   There are people who are dying everyday from cancer.  Families are loosing mothers, fathers, children and others from cancer.  These women have a horrible amount of greed in them.  Greed for attention, greed for money and greed for taking from others who need the services.  There has to be something wrong with these people who believe that this is going to be acceptable in any manner by any person.   No one should feel sorry for these individuals who take from the sick and the dying.  It should be made known to everyone who has ever had a thought of trying this type of scheme that will be a stiff penalty for this crime.  Then we need to make sure that we can back this up.  This needs to be something that someone thinks long and hard about before doing something this horrible to cancer victims.
