Can Christmas Come Early from BzzAgent?

About a month ago, I was in a department and I saw this machine. I feel in love with it. I thought how fun it would be to make your own pop anytime you wanted. I tried to share the wonder of this great machine with my husband. Unfortunately, he hardly ever drinks pop and well, he could not see the purpose of paying for this machine. I tried to share with my husband all the fun occasions we can share making our pop, but he didn't fall for it this reason either. I then thought of the ability to make pop for our boys when we are watching a game or favorite television show, and well, he didn't seem to think that the costs was worth it.

But as a bzzagent, I have an opportunity to own this machine, try the many flavors and tell others about the ease of the machine, the great tasting pop we made and prove to my husband just how much fun this machine really is to use and own.

Last Nights Dinner, Everyday Easy

Last night I made some hamburgers. I decided to try these products for everyday cooking to prove how easy using Tastefully Simple for all your meals is easy and delicious. I seasoned my hamburger meat with Seasoned Salt. The combination of ingredients inside this bottle proves that a little bit of quality ingredients is all that is necessary to provide an excellent taste experience. The hamburgers were absolutely delicious, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.

Garlic Garlic was added to a pan of black beans simmering on the stove. I added a pinch of Fiesta Party Dip seasoning to the beans for a tiny bit of heat. I let the flavors meld together before adding some co-jack cheese to melt into the beans. The result? Incredibly seasoned, cheesy, and spicy black beans. To top the beans off, I made a Fiesta Party Dip with sour cream to add a dollop just before diving in. 

So what recipes can you make incredible from adding Tastefully Simple into everyday?

Bayou Bourbon Glaze, Last Night's Favorite

The Bayou Bourbon Glaze was the best of the best products we tried last night. We had it on ham and it reminded Mike of the flavor of Ham Balls but with a kick. If you are not familiar with ham balls, it is a meatball made of ham. The sweet sauce what makes them great, according to Mike. This sauce had a kick to it, just enough heat to counter the sweetness. It was delicious.

The Pomegranate Chiptle Sauce was good, it carried more spice than the Bayou Bourbon Glaze and was delicious on the chicken breast that were seasoned with Seasoned Salt before adding the sauce. It smelled absolutely wonderful and well, yum.

I added some grilled chicken breasts in the Creamy Wild Rice Soup and loved the flavor of this soup. The soup takes about 45 minutes to simmer to completion, but it was delicious and well worth the wait.

The Olive and Herb Cheese Ball was really good. It was suppose to be a cold cheese ball, but I made it as a warm dip and it was awesome. I served it with wheat thins and the sweetness of the cracker was a great compliment to the Mediterranean spices.

However, my favorite dip last night was the Artichoke and Spinach Warm Dip. It is made with cream cheese and Swiss cheese. It was warm, creamy, flavorful, and well, it was so good.

Oh My Chai! Loving Tastefully Simple

I am so excited to be back with Tastefully Simple. I love their food and I have to be my best customer. I think you will enjoy some of these great products. As a matter of fact, I am eating a piece of Bountiful Beer Bread (made with ginger ale) and Rhubarb Strawberry Fruit Spread. Tonight for dinner we are having a Tastefully Simple sampling. Growing Up with Star Wars

What started many years ago with my brothers and me loving the story of Luke, Han Solo, Darth Vadar and the rest of the characters of this incredible story continued with the same love with my boys. They loved the older movies and when the newer Star Wars movies came out, well, we had so many versions of light sabers around the house that I did not know where we could keep them all. They loved the ships whether from legos or already constructed versions in the stores. They loved the sounds, sights, characters, and the voice of Darth Vadar.

It would mean so much for us to have this complete set of movies to share with the entire family when our oldest comes home from college for family movie night. The memories these movies evoke in our family is something we would love to continue with our future daughters in law and grandchildren. As a bzzagent, I am up for an opportunity to receive this product and share the bzz. I can't wait.

Bzzing about Madden 12

My 16 year old son love video games. He has quite a selection of games and one of the favorites is sports games. Both boys will play against each other which is an incredible bonding moment for one nearly 17 and one nearly 20 years old. The oldest is in college and this is something they can do together.  I really hope that this opportunity comes my way as I would love to bzz about how much fun the boys are having playing against each other and spending time together. The Help

The movie may be taking the country by storm this fall season, but before that came the book. Told from the perspective of three women dealing with life in a racially charged Mississippi during the 1960’s, The Help deftly weaves together the personal and political history of the early years of the Civil Rights Movement.

Ok, so the movie is hitting the screens, but how much does the movie reflect the book? That is always a question to ask but do you ever go out and get the book? I have to admit, I don't. But this book is an exception. Why? Because as  a Bzzagent I am up for a opportunity to receive the book to read and review. I hope that the book fills in the questions the movie left.

Shaking Up Dinner

I love to cook and my husband loves bar-b-que. There are some times when you do not have 6-8 hours to make slow smoked bar-b-que. Dreamlights, the making of great memories

Looking at the picture of the Dreamlights jar makes you think back to a time when you were younger and catching lightening bugs. Well, it does for me. I grew up in Wisconsin and visited my grandparents in Iowa in the summers. I remember at Grandma Betty's we would get a canning jar and collect lightening bugs in the evening before our ice cream was served. Our parents were there talking on the back porch with our grandparents and their neighbors while we ran around trying to catch the bundles of light. There was a lot of laughter, running, and talking on those nights. I later found out when I had young children of my own that the fun and laughter experienced by the adults was in the little secret that the catching of lightening bugs a great use of energy before bed. But those memories will always be special to me.

Keeping Up in the Kitchen

Recently we have gotten television back. We moved to a location where the line of sight necessary for satellite was severely blocked by trees. We upgraded to a HD package that has a different line of sight now and well, I have been able to catch up on a lot of Food Network television. One of the things that I have noticed is how many recipes have a sauce of some type. I have a narrower kitchen counter on the longest counter in the kitchen and I will tell you that it is a pain in the bum to pull out a blender when the counter is already compromised. I think I have an opportunity to find a solution to this problem.

You see, I am a bzz agent and I have the opportunity to try some incredible products and review the products I try. Beautiful Bodum Glasses

This is a beautiful glass. I am in need of some new glasses as we have one son in college, a sophomore and one son a junior in high school and I am tired of plastic cups and mismatched glasses. We Have Television Again

Last Friday afternoon, during a rain storm we had DISH TV install a satellite and I felt like it was the first time in my life I had television. Let me tell you the story.

In April we had to move away from our mentally ill landlord (who by the way still is not done harassing us) and tried to have our DirectTV service moved with us. He tried to find the "line of site" but was unable to find his own keys. Seriously, he spent about an hour or so looking for his keys. We called Dish TV and they could not find a line of sight for their regular service and said that if we went with the HDTV satellite for an additional $400 for a total of $600 we could have television. Well, since we had just moved, had a son who broke a collar bone and had surgery just a few days before moving, we didn't have the extra $600 to pay to sit on the couch and watch television. Of course, our recuperating son disagreed with us. He was also upset that the season of Office was not over yet and he couldn't see it. Then there was the internet fiasco (we had satellite internet and couldn't down load anything without upsetting the fair use policy we did not know about). So, we waited from April 24th until September 2 to get television.

Here is the funny thing, it only cost us $91 more to get HDTV. So we waited all that time and it did not cost us an additional $400. I asked why the difference in four LOOOOONG months without television to bring the cost down by over $300 and the answer........they didn't know.

Now we have television just in time for the Burn Notice marathon yesterday before the season finale last night. My youngest son will be able to watch the season premier of the Office. We can watch the Iowa/Iowa State rivalry on Fox Sports Midwest tomorrow and when my college son comes home he can watch BBCAmerica. Life is good.

But more than that, we can finally be able to keep up with what is going on in life outside our home and driveway. We will know when the big storms are coming our way and those who were very affected by the big storms. I am also happy to say that we can now talk about the STUPID commercials we are constantly bombarded with all the time.

Getting to Try a Blender Bottle

As a Bzz Agent, I am up for an opportunity to try a Blender Bottle from Sundesa. I am very excited about this opportunity for many reasons, the first one of course is the opportunity to use my shake mixes and not have lumps in my beverages. I am truly hoping that it will also eliminate the thick layer of foam that comes about when I shake the mix far too much to have the lumps dissolved.

Why do I think this Blender Bottle will be the answer to my dilemma? The bottle has a little ball that will break up and mix the mix with the liquid. Best of all, this can be used for more than just drink mixes. Pancake mix, salad dressings, and so much more. This could be the best product for the kitchen ever!
